This deliberate misrepresentation, stemming from the actions of just one or a few upset users, has regrettably altered widespread public perception, causing many to now mistakenly view the word "tribute" as synonymous with harassment.
Our user platform recently faced a disturbing campaign wherein individuals attempted to falsely brand it as a 'CSAM' website through widespread public opinion posts on Reddit. A single user reportedly created 10-15 topics and threads, repeatedly asserting this inflammatory claim. Tragically, this deliberate misinformation had a perverse and unintended consequence: by shifting public perception, these false accusations inadvertently led to some users actually attempting to utilize the website for CSAM. The sheer volume and persistence of these baseless posts, which repeatedly claimed "This site is a CSAM website," regrettably transformed public opinion, effectively making the false narrative appear true and, in turn, inciting harmful behavior.
